How to Buy

Web Store

All pinpointtools products and Pinpoint University classes are available for immediate secure, online purchase and download at the pinpointtools Web Store.

Consultants and Resellers

Volume Discounts

Volume discounts are available for multiple license purchases of all pinpointtools products.  The standard discount schedule is:

Purchasing products in volume: To receive the volume discount, all licenses must be purchased and paid for in a single order.  (For TransAct for Pocket PC, please see the next section below.)  When you enter your order in our web store, the appropriate quantity discounts will be applied automatically.

Special terms for bulk license purchases: Special terms are available for site licenses, association/group purchasing, OEMs and VARs.  Contact Sales at 800-238-0560 or sales@pinpointtools.com to get  a custom quote for your organization.

Product Delivery Options

Almost all pinpointtools products may be downloaded directly from the website so that there is no shipping cost or sales tax.  This is the fastest way to get your products and ensures you receive the very latest version.

You may also have products shipped to you on CD.  CD orders will include a shipping/handling charge and are taxable if shipped to a Texas address.  For shipping costs, see Shipping, below.

Shipping and Handling

If you prefer, you may have your products shipped to you on CD rather than download them from our web site.  All shipping is done by 2nd Day Air.  Credit card orders will be shipped the same business day if placed before 12:00 noon, US Central time, or the next business day if received after 12:00.  Check orders and purchase orders will be filled after the funds have been received and check cleared.

For shipments to US addresses, the following rates apply:

International shipments: Shipments to non-US addresses will cost more, usually $40 US - $60 US more than the comparable US shipment.  The actual shipping cost will be quoted to you at the time of purchase.

The current rates for selected locations for an order of 1-4 CDs are:

2nd Day Air shipping may not be available to some locations, and additional charges such as export or customs duties may apply.  Your custom shipping quote will include all required charges.

Money-Back Guarantee, Returns and Refunds

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

All pinpointtools software products come with a 30-day money-back guarantee.  In the first 30 days after your purchase, you may return the product for a refund for any reason whatsoever.

Refunds include the purchase price for the product licenses, including all taxes but not including shipping and handling charges if any.  Orders paid by credit card will be refunded to the same credit card within 2 business days.  All other refunds will be issued by check within 2 weeks.

To return a product for a refund, contact the company or web site you purchased the product from within 30 days of placing your order:

• www.actaddons.com, AddOn Store or ACT! Solutions: Please click here and follow their instructions.

• Sage Software's eStore: please contact Sage Customer service at 877-386-8083 (US and Canada) for a refund.

• Any other store, ACT! consultant, reseller or web site: Please contact that company for instructions and refund processing.

Do not uninstall the product before you call.  Before issuing the refund, your sales representative will help you remove the product license from your PC or PCs, then uninstall the product files.  No refund will be issued without successfully completing these steps.

Free Replacement of Damaged or Missing Materials

Product CDs and the accompanying materials are warranted to be free from defects of materials and workmanship for 30 days.  If your product package arrives damaged, any items are missing or the CD is scratched or unreadable, we will replace it for free.  Call Sales at 800-238-0560 (+1 214-905-0401 international) within 30 days of placing your order if you need replacement materials.

If you accidentally lose or damage a CD or other item, we will supply you with a replacement for a nominal shipping and handling fee plus sales tax if applicable.  For single-CD products shipped in the U.S., the replacement fee is $15.  Higher fees may apply for multi-CD products or international shipments.  Call Sales at 800-238-0560 (+1 214-905-0401 international) if you need replacements for lost or damaged items.

Training and Consulting Services

The 30-day money-back guarantee does not apply to training classes on Pinpoint University or any consulting services.  If you cannot attend a scheduled class or consulting appointment, please notify your consultant immediately (or send email to training@pinpointtools.com) as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule.  A cancellation fee may apply if you cancel less than 48 hours before a class.
